Navidad en el Barrio's mission is making life more pleasant for those less fortunate than others. Diversifying its interests to all age groups has enabled the organization to continue bringing smiles to those who otherwise might have lost all hope.
Beck and Masten North is proud to be a part of such a worthy and important cause. This past holiday season we participated by donating 100 bicycles to this years effort. We invite all our friends and family to join in and contribute what they can.
 
Navidad en el Barrio began at the Community Center in 1987 with a $5,000 contribution from Baking Company. This level of contribution continued until 1993.
In 1993, Coca-Cola Bottling Company and Fiesta Mart Inc. became our major sponsors by donating $8,500 and acquiring the Astroarena Pavillion for our annual el Barrio Christmas Program. Our major sponsors have also assisted in all our various functions and fund-raisers. This level of support continued through 1996.
In 1994, one individual company, Chefs Produce, demonstrated its commitment to Navidad en el Barrio by donating $15,000 to the Christmas Program. This level of support brought their total contribution to $31,000 since becoming a corporate sponsor in 1992. Today, Navidad en el Barrio has grown to encompass Christmas Programs in three major cities, Snow Day in and special events for our "older kids". Our hard work and dedication would have produced much less were it not for the tireless efforts of thousands of volunteers and our treasured corporate sponsors. |
